In an era where people are selling the family farms and heading for he hills, we made a decision to continue in the family business started 25 years ago. Southern Tree Plantation began as a farm providing seasonal trees to the public at Christmas as well as to landscape contractors throughout the year.

Evolving over the years into an event center for corporate picnics, weddings and other functions, groups come here from all over the southeast to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.

We are unique in that we are an all inclusive, self-maintained facility. With 15 activities, such as giant inflatable  slide, a train, and hayrides all included, our plantation is a tremendous value. The breathtaking, natural beauty of the setting only enhances the experience.

Today, there are three generations involved in our family business. Now operating year round, we all work together with our kids in tow, bringing up the next generation. We maintain 70 acres of tress and event grounds, care for six goats, one potbellied pig, three ponies, a pond full of fish, two sheep name Bo & Peep, the ducks, turkeys and pheasants, as well as Donner and Blitzer our pair of rescued white-tailed deer.
